Our Commerce practice is a comprehensive capability managing the intersection of media and marketplaces.  It helps clients understand the shopper needs and journey to identify and drive areas of growth, as well as link media to commerce for investment recommendations and management between brands’ direct-to-consumer sites and e-retailers.  

Job Description

As a successful candidate, you work across a number of our FMCG clients, whilst helping us build products and capabilities across the Publicis Groupe around eRetail and Digital Commerce.

Supporting the Commerce Director in overseeing a number of high profile grocery clients and parachuting into answering specific challenges, you will drive the development our grocery proposition across a virtual team spanning media, creative and shopper agencies across predominantly UK but also other EMEA markets.

You will be involved in implementing commerce strategies and liaising with activation teams, retailers and third parties to grow sales through grocery retailers, emerging Quick Commerce platforms and owned direct-to-consumer (DTC) entities.

You will:

  • Be the contributing voice to clients on topics such as digital shelf eContent, analytics, retail media, DTC, business capability and finding innovative ways to work with retailers differently.
  • Support with planning of growth initiatives such as retail media across platforms such as CitrusAd, Criteo and Amazon.
  • Feeding into or creating guidelines and playbooks on eRetail best practice and presenting to stakeholders across the client organisation and market teams.
  • Managing emerging external partnerships to explore further as a route to driving growth, both with clients and Publicis Commerce stakeholders in mind.
  • Liasing with activation teams, retailers and partners and centralising case studies and learnings to share with stakeholders.
  • Ownership of day-to-day client comms and working with local market Publicis teams on broader EMEA engagements.

Qualifications

  • Experience of broad digital marketing or performance marketing for a brand, retailer, media platform or agency
  • Retail-side E-Commerce or brand trade marketing experience
  • Strong project management skills
