Job Description

The Role

This role reports into the Leon Global Head of Commerce and requires close working relationships with the Leon Commerce Lead, other senior members of the Leon Media / Digital & Commerce team as well as colleagues across a diverse range of media channels and members of the Publicis Groupe Commerce Practice both in the UK and globally.

Commerce media is a vertical that is full of innovation and the changing retailer landscape makes this an incredibly exciting area to be working in. This role will help Haleon deliver against their ambitious commerce goals by navigating the complexity presented by this change by providing incredible consumer experiences.

You will be involved in supporting local markets with their commerce strategy for brand such as Sensodyne, Panadol, and Centrum and ensure their commerce tactics are best in class and innovative.  This will also include being involved in budgeting guidance for markets and brands, client relationship building and content creation in support of the team's deliverables.

Our commerce team focuses on key pillars:

  1. Strategy and Acceleration for ecommerce
  2. Media planning, activation & measurement
  3. Content mapping and creative requirements

Responsibilities

  • To support the senior team in integrating digital commerce into annual planning and drive strategies for clients to maximise media performance across a range of retailers in local markets
  • Present and feedback on media performance and lead the thinking and discussion with clients in the biddable media space
  • Own and develop strong working relationships with clients and internal media teams, ensuring integration with internal Publicis Leon teams
  • Be a support pillar in day-to-day management with local markets and driving consistency in approaches throughout
  • Be a key support for the commerce media director and senior managers, including content creation with the intention of presenting global media performance to senior stakeholders
  • Be a champion of commerce media within Publicis Leon, often working with brand building media teams to ensure commerce is present throughout overall strategy as an integral part of the user journey

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience in eCommerce / Retail Media (Amazon Advertising, Criteo or Citrus if possible)
  • Commerce experience in a digital retail environment or with FMCGs a plus but not essential
  • An understanding in digital analytics and the ability to use the information to spot opportunities/create a narrative
  • The ability to craft a story and strong narrative interpreted from large amounts of performance data
  • Comfortable problem solving, working with multiple time zones to support a connected team
  • Understanding of the Amazon Advertising ecosystem is desirable
  • An interest in retail and keeping up with fast paced updates and new solutions
  • Experience using PowerPoint and Excel skills and keen to present to multiple stakeholders in time
