We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.
 

Job Description

This newly created role will work across Elida Beauty, a portfolio of iconic beauty and personal brands. This is a new business win for Publicis Groupe, with official appointment date from January 2023. The role will sit in the digital hub, with remit over paid social planning and activation, across four global regions: Australia & New Zealand, Central Europe, North America and the UK. The aim of the digital hub is to collaborate closely with local strategy and planning teams to deliver superior, seamless experiences - whatever the path to purchase. The social hub will provide channel expertise and strategic recommendations that integrate historical learnings, underpinned by a connected, operations powerhouse.

The Paid Social Manager will work with their Associate Director to ensure client strategy is followed and lead on planning activities, while overseeing the effective execution of campaigns across the hub’s markets.

This client remit will include large brand-focused campaigns, so experience working on clients within the CPG is highly recommended.

 

The Paid Social Manager will deliver on four key objectives:

1. Strategic Thought Leadership

Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge across all global paid social platforms including Meta, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok, drive innovation and constantly refine strategic approach by executing test & learns, pitching and executing activity on new platforms, participating in alpha/beta tests, securing agency or category firsts.

2. Account Growth & Maturity

Grow and develop the account, consistently improving performance, increasing investment and diversifying platform/product adoption.

3. Team Management

Effectively manage client deliverables, developing techniques to appropriately prioritize and distribute workload and responsibilities across the team. Ensure client needs are met and seek ways to improve efficiency through implementing new processes or tools.

4. Developing Direct Reports

Set challenging and stretching tasks to grow the expertise and confidence of direct and indirect reports. Provide on the job training, construct compelling development plans and hold frequent development discussions to inspire and motivate team members.

Qualifications

  • Work with Associate Director to devise campaign strategy and produce campaign plans and rationale in line with client business objectives.
  • Ensure activation of client activity across social platforms runs according to plan and free of errors.
  • Ensure your team delivers a high standard of work across planning, reporting, optimization, communication, billing, reconciliation and all other tasks required as part of running the designated accounts.
  • Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team, develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders: account planning teams, buying teams across all disciplines, clients, media owners and tech providers.
  • Define and develop your team organizational approach, implement and develop efficient processes across the team to streamline tasks.
