Publicis Groupe is the global agency partner for NIVEA, the world’s leading skin-care brand, for every market globally. For NIVEA we have built a bespoke agency called Publicis One Touch, a name that embodies the NIVEA brand purpose of ‘The Power of Touch’.  

Publicis One Touch is a new agency model designed to help transform NIVEA’s communication model from a TV centric approach to one rooted in the consumer journey leveraging the range of touchpoints and channels that are relevant to consumers today.   In order to do that we must bring together data, creativity and technology to help build a truly integrated approach to the Nivea brand. This model is designed to dramatically improve the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and consistency of NIVEA marketing.

The Agency is led from Hamburg HQ, which our core communications clients have moved into, and use a network of Publicis One Touch teams to cover the NIVEA world.

Job Description

We´re looking for a kick-ass candidate to join our Social & Digital team. The Social Community Manager position will support the Executive Director of Social and the Social Content Strategy Lead in bringing to life best in class consumer activations, content ideas and social media plans.

You´re a fundamental part of NIVEA´s social presence, keeping our key social channels (IG, FB, Tik Tok, YT) relevant and engaging with our brand community and skincare lovers worldwide.

You´re proactive in proposing new content ideas based on your understanding of the brand community and the skincare social universe, being able to collaborate with creative teams and eventually create some in-the moment content on your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Define and approve content calendars and posting plans.
  • Set posting schedules
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Create consumer Q&As for approval
  • Scout content and accounts to interact with real time
  • Monitor and report on channel performance and community learnings.
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Coordinate with creative and strategy teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Liaise with client services team to stay updated on new launches and features
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends
  • Connect with media team for paid post activation.
  • Identify and engage with influencers

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing social media channels and experience with video first platforms and formats. Tik Tok experience is key.

Experience with cosmetic, beauty, FMGC and fashion is preferred, but we are open to a wide range of backgrounds. Show us how your experience is the perfect fit for NIVEA.

Ideally, you have:

  • 4+ years of proven work experience as a community manager
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating interactive content series and writing newsletters)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent English writing skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Ability to create (shoot and edit) short videos and photos with in-house equipment for real time engagement
  • Experience with influencer and content creator engagement.

  • Native Editing Tools (Tik Tok, CapCut, IG video) also a plus
