Job Description

Sitting within the Publicis LEON London Hub, you will be a core member of our strategy/client team, working directly with the Global Category client team on their Oral Health Category. This includes the market leaders of Sensodyne, Corsodyl/Parodontax, Polident and Aquafresh. The Associate Director will play an essential role in this development partnering with our Strategy Directors to develop market leading connections strategy and ensure we operate at the leading edge of strategic media thinking and practice. Consequently, we are seeking candidates with drive, passion, energy, and emotional intelligence to drive change.

You will play a front-line role in the day-to-day management of the clients, our campaigns and interactions between our team and the other agencies that work on the business. You will help propel the team to deliver effectively and in time against our objectives for the client brand teams.

Key Responsibilities

You will report into the Global Business Director and assist them in the handling of the account on a day-to-day basis working with the strategy team, Publicis local market leads and the creative agencies to develop cut through communications and delivering our annual client scope of work and thought leadership programme.

  • You will be reporting into the Global Business Director taking account leadership over the Oral Health category sites (Weybridge) and working alongside the strategy teams to deliver for the clients.
  • You will work with key brand clients (e.g., Sensodyne) and Haleon Media Leads to ensure their business and marketing goals are interpreted correctly and effectively and see this translated into well-structured and prioritised work streams.
  • You will be day to day escalation with your clients as well as conduit point for design market Publicis Leon leads (e.g., Head of Planning for US Oral Care) across all collaborative projects
  •  You will help set KPIs for the team with clients and ensure they are tracked and delivered effectively across workstreams
  • Your broad knowledge across all platforms will allow you to see the bigger picture and organise and delegate effectively with the team to get the best out of it. On occasion you will help provide quality checks on clients briefs at the start alongside a strategist to ensure briefs are of strong quality and expectations are set from the start.
  • Using our formal Scope of Work- you will key the teams (and clients) focussed on agreed priorities and selected workstreams but also work flexibly to achieve win-wins when it comes to new projects.
  • You will help co-ordinate and run and cross- brand reviews and reports such as a QBR (quarterly business review) Quarterly innovation reports and market ‘brand surgeries’ (Reviews of how well a market is delivering against global strategy).

Qualifications

  • You have experience local or globally across all channels and will be familiar with delivering measurable campaigns that drive growth.
  • You are organised
  • You are confident and can speak up in a crowded room/ zoom call. You are a diplomat who can be assertive and authoritative to drive positive results internally with your colleagues, and externally with clients and other agency partners. You are driven by happy clients.
  • You are comfortable with numbers and possess an attention to detail which enables you to interpret local market media plans and reports and come to the correct conclusions over whether they strategically align with Global direction. You are proficient with excel so you can create formulas to reflect data effectively and save time. An interest in market analytics will help bring the best out of your work and the way you present it to clients.
