The Account / Client

The Global Account Manager will be working to deliver best-in-class media services for a globally renowned crystal and jewellery manufacturer, founded in Austria in the 1800s.

With thousands of stores in multiple countries across the world, the company designs and sells the world’s highest quality crystal, genuine gemstones, accessories, and homeware.

Job Description

The Role

The Global Account Manager will work with a variety of teams across 30+ markets worldwide. They will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

You will be working in a fully integrated central team, comprising of the best talent within client management, strategy, digital, data, tech and reporting.

The Global Account Manager plays an integral role within the client management team and is the driving force behind the full global team of specialists, ensuring the successful management and implementation of global projects and brand briefs worldwide.

This role requires an ambitious self-starter who is looking to thrive within a dynamic and integrated global account team to drive success in 2023.

You will own the relationship with local agency teams and client team, ensuring the smooth delivery of multiple operational projects and co-ordinate ongoing global team outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management: Key point of contact for local agency teams across 40+ markets and external stakeholders, supported by the global account director.

  • Key contact for Zenith local agency teams
  • Management of the Zenith Global team
  • Support in the delivery of client status reports, talk through owned line items on status call
  • Coordination of global requests

Network Operations: Ensuring agreed processes and ways of working are adhered to worldwide, driving efficiency across the network, ensuring a consistent global approach to media activation

  • Facilitating monthly network calls
  • Maintain / upkeep of the dedicated central hub featuring a portfolio of resources (Swarovski Academy)
  • Oversee the tracking and aggregation of data across for analysis (media plans, PCAs etc.)
  • Communicating latest news and updates in adherence to global processes

Contractual / Finance: Co-ordination of some finance processes with global hub and local market teams, ensuring all trackers are being kept up to date 

  • Coordination and management of global budget tracker
  • Understands the terms of the Zenith - Client contract across two key areas:  1. Operational / Contractual Endeavors  2. Global Media Excellence and scope of work

Supporting the Business: Support the delivery of multiple workstreams in order to meet client expectations

  • Project Management of ad hoc projects
  • Manage upwards to ensure your team are aware of key workstreams, updates or challenges
  • Coordination of MMM analysis and Brand Consumer Trackers
  • Share marketplace developments to share knowledge of key areas of focus
  • Support the preparation and content development of client meetings

Qualifications

You will be:

  • A total team player, committed to the collective success of the entire network
  • Knowledgeable in all media channels within a media agency working on either local or global clients
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise, with exceptional organisational skills
  • A confident and adaptable communicator and solutions-oriented
  • Able to assess the value of individual tasks and manage priorities, taking into account the bigger picture beyond any one task
  • Able to identify when to escalate potential issues before they become a problem

Skills Required

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral skills- able to come across clearly and succinctly in email or over the phone
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse and interrogate numbers and produce compelling arguments
  • Strong analytical skills and able to understand and interpret data; to identify trends, opportunities and make strategic arguments
  • Experience in managing other people / local markets
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
