We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.
 

Job Description

The Strategy Director will support the Global Strategy lead on the brand Nespresso (one of many brands that sit under Nestlé’s coffee portfolio including Nescafe, Dolce Gusto and Starbucks) as an integral member of the team dedicated to this Business Unit.

The Strategy Director will sit at the epicentre of global brand and media communications planning for Nespresso. Your role will be to instigate thinking and build media campaign recommendations, working in close partnership with the Account, Digital and Data Teams, to grow the B2C & B2B business.

You will be an accomplished senior Strategy Manager looking for the next step in their career, or a junior Strategy Director looking to work for one of the most reputable companies in the world and primarily dedicated to a famous brand with big ambitions.

We are looking for an individual with aptitude and interest in media communications, someone who wants to become an invaluable member of the team. You will be required to have the enthusiasm and competence to share your opinion, discuss and shape media strategy and planning direction across B2C/ B2B Campaigns. You will also understand broader global business projects such as Partnerships, Media Principles, Annual Campaign Roadmaps, Audience Architecture and Integrated Communications Planning frameworks. 

STRATEGY AND PLANNING (B2B/2C)
Strategic Campaign Planning

  • Global, regional and local markets orientation
  • The ability to unite global direction across major creative and media planning projects to inform Campaign Planning
  • Ability to ‘lean in’ to developing  the highest standard of work to accelerate global to local communications planning
  • Lead and govern the delivery of strategic projects and work streams

Audience/ Media Insights

  • Analysis of global audience segments for strategic insights using industry research and planning tools
  • To both collate, analyse and develop learnings and insights from a wide range of data sources covering a wide range of topics across media, brand, digital and creative
  • Work closely with the digital specialists and operational team to ensure best practice planning, implementation, and measurement

 ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Confidently manage multiple client and build strong stakeholder relationships (client and NestléOne)
  • Be excited about driving brand success and strong working relationships with client stakeholders across core Nestle and Nespresso Business Units
  • Foster strong relationships within the team & encourage 360-collaboration
  • Further drive integration with Publicis Groupe network for foster delivery of ‘Power of One’

Qualifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Background within media agency
  • Previous experience in a global team is not essential
  • Ability to think strategically and develop supporting documents
  • Great written work and eye for presentation creativity
  • Understanding of industry tools and systems (e.g, GWI & TGI)
  • Interest in digital infrastructure, content strategy and measurement would be helpful
  • Mix of analytical and creative approaches to work
  • Confident presenter
