Razorfish is looking for an associate to join its Data and Analytics practice. This is an analytics, research, and consulting team that delivers data-driven insights to our clients.  Each member of the team is aligned to one or more clients and works closely with other Data Science team members, our clients, and colleagues across other disciplines such as: Client Management, Strategy, Search, Media, User Experience, and Technology.

In this role you will contribute to data-driven projects across one or more client accounts. You will have support from data leadership and fellow analysts.

Core areas of focus for this group include applications in measurement planning and strategy, customer segmentations, testing frameworks, media and advertising measurement and optimization solutions, personalization, and forecasting

We work on a hybrid model and this role will have on site/in person visibility within our Plano, TX office

Job Description

 

  • Analyze performance for one (or more) track of client's business to extract, cleanse, and analyze data, identify trends and anomalies
  • Compile regular reporting deliverables
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • Craft client-facing presentations communicating insights, including data visualizations
  • Collaborate with internal teams within the account to make data-driven recommendations
  • Be an active listener who is willing to contribute to internal discussions, and to actively participate in client meetings as needed
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas, both verbally and in writing  
  • Learn Razorfish's data capabilities to understand how data fits into a client's overall strategy
  • Take ownership of your area of responsibility

   

What a typical day might look like:

Running queries to obtain data         

Manipulating, analyzing, and formatting data for reports         

Analyzing results of A/B tests and the implications on creative, messaging, and audience

 Presenting results and recommendations to internal strategy and audience team         

Perform ad hoc data requests

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 0-1 year of post-undergrad experience, preferably in analytics or a marketing-related field
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in any field that includes quantitative study
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable using Excel for analysis, including pivot tables and data visualization
  • Basic knowledge of ad tech, mar tech, and data tools and platforms is a plus
  • Technical Skills (optional but preferred):
    • Data Visualization experience leveraging tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio or similar
    • Hands-on experience in analytics components of one or more marketing or media platforms such as Adobe, Google, or Salesforce
    • Comfortable using at least one programming language (such as R, Python, or SQL)
