Job Description

The Global Senior Account Executive will be a core part of the global client team for Edrington, working across, account, strategy, and digital disciplines supporting the delivery of best in class planning, activation, and local market execution. This role is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide variety of disciplines that will allow the right candidate to learn and grow. Furthermore, they will be able to understand and manage global relationship with other markets and actively communicate with different stakeholders within the agency group.
This person will be expected to support the team to drive key client projects that will include cross channel strategy development, markets coordination, supporting digital operations projects, and help identify new innovation opportunities.
The role is an exciting opportunity to work across a core client for Zenith Global. The Edrington Group, is a privately owned international spirits company based in Scotland. It produces single malts such as The Macallan, Highland Park, The Glenrothes; blended malts such as The Famous Grouse; and Brugal Rum. This role is to support on all brands, especially The Macallan, but at times, also The Famous Grouse, Highland Park and The Glenrothes across several exciting projects, spanning multiple markets.
The right candidate will be able to work closely to (and receiving great exposure to) various teams and stakeholders giving her/him the opportunity to learn across agency functions and be part of multiple exiting digital projects. This will, ultimately, help defining their career path within the agency group.

Planning & Strategy

  • Support the Global Account Lead and Account Managers to produce and roll out digital brand strategies to both Global and local teams that are insightful, innovative, integrated and effective.
  • Provide support on overseeing the successful implementation of the strategy and be a key player in ensuring campaigns are timely and reported on effectively.
  • Responsible for producing campaign reports, including data inputting and providing insightful commentary and strategic recommendations for clients
  • Contribute to the testing plans of your clients, suggest new ideas for testing and own this for your channel, including planning, executing & evaluating tests with methodical accuracy
  • Managing campaign launches across all relevant channels

Client Servicing & Management

  • Support role on managing key client stakeholders across key tasks and markets.
  • Developing relationships with internal stakeholders to be seen as a key central point of contact on the Edrington team.

Market Coordination & Network Management

  • Work with local market teams to share relevant information and ensure understanding & adoption of such strategies (as outlined in responsibilities above).
  • Ensure oversight of local market activations  
  • Ensure local markets are following the Global strategy and executing best in class plans at a local level.
  • Facilitate the operation of finance, with the guidance of Account Managers, liaising with activation and billing teams to allow for smooth client billing.

    Digital operations & ad-technology
  • Data governance – Oversee markets adherence and ensure data consistency across all markets & platforms. This will include tracking of adherence to global naming conventions, evaluating and troubleshooting data quality issues across ad-tech platforms.

Develop and maintain relationships

  • Build relationships and establish the smooth running of key stakeholder groups: central Zenith account & planning and activation teams, and central/local Zenith activation teams.
  • Report minutes and points of discussions when participating in meetings with client and internal stakeholders, such as in weekly client status calls.
  • Organise diaries and meetings for the central team.
  • Work closely with other Account Executives within the team, collaborating on projects and sharing skills.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience working in a media agency as an Account Executive or existing Senior Account Executive. Experience in media planning and media buying is required. They will be savvy with numbers, with a strong proficiency in excel, and be highly organised.

They will be interested in understanding how consumers think, feel and behave in relation to products and services; and in how technology can enable brands to engage with and influence this behavior. The individual will enjoy working with data and have strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results-driven. They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team.
