Senior Account Manager - PR and Policy

  • Full-time

Company Description

Who we are

Langland, a Publicis Health company, is the only health communications agency that thinks further across Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Policy, and Advertising, to create unique value with visionary clients.

What we believe

Health brings us together. In the diseases we suffer, the medicines we create, and the causes we champion, health shows us our collective humanity. When we break the barriers that divide us, when we think further, we can create healthier futures, together.

A passion for craft

Having expert thinking is only part of our story. To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.

Job Description

If you’re ambitious, hardworking, and ready to change how people see the world of healthcare – then we’d love to meet you. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our healthcare accounts and ensuring their success.

There are tight deadlines, fast-moving projects and clients who only demand the best from us – but if you’re the sort of person who thrives in this kind of environment, you’re in the right place. Whilst experience is important, we really want to see your passion for healthcare and a genuine enthusiasm for the work we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with a Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of projects within time, budget, and scope.
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through cross-sell and upselling.
  • Lead client meetings to drive client agenda and contribute to tactical brand planning and creative process aligned with the marketing strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of content and assess content development critically.
  • Understand the process and importance of accurate resource planning.
  • Work with the project team and client to agree budget, scope, and timeline.
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with the client and ensure stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Take mentoring and line management responsibility for Account Executives where appropriate.
  • Communicate internally/externally in a timely, clear, and concise manner.
  • Ensure data policies are internally ratified within SOW/Contract.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Account Manager within an agency working on healthcare accounts.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for healthcare and a genuine enthusiasm for the work we do.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.

If you like to Think Further and approach things in a different way, we’d love to hear from you. Here at Langland, we’re an open-minded bunch, always on the lookout for new ideas, whether that’s in the work we produce or a way of working. So, if you want to make a difference in the healthcare industry, this is the right place for you.
