About the gig

The purpose of our SEO Account Director is to oversee the SEO accounts, build key customer relationships and build trust and resilient customer partnerships. Your team will look to you to drive overall strategy, act as the key escalation point and confidently take the lead on delivering best-in-class SEO campaigns.

Working as part of a large team, we might spot you:

  • Owning and driving senior customer relationships
  • Devising the optimal owned media strategy and owned media activation for customers based on their budgets, target audience and KPIs
  • Directing and overseeing analysis and audits using a combination of resources including but not limited to search, social, content, audience auditing tools
  • Leading a strategy and coordinating the team to deliver best-in-class campaigns for a portfolio of customers
  • Devising and agreeing customer targets and ensuring the SEO team achieves the KPIs set out at campaign planning stage
  • Producing performance projections, based on accurate data and a valid methodology, presented to customers in an understandable way
  • Leading, coaching, driving and inspiring the SEO team

 

Some essentials that will help you get the job:

  • 5+ years’ experience in working within a fast-paced agency environment working with enterprise-level customers
  • 3 years’ proven experience leading a moderately sized team of specialists within an agency or content-focused environment
  • Confident in leading strategic conversations on subject areas like Technical SEO, Conversion Rate Optimisation, Content Creation, Content Production and Content Marketing.
  • Expert understanding of the workings of HTML and CSS
  • Strong presentation and story-telling skills with a natural ability to influence others
  • Customer focused and dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers and exploring out of the box opportunities for them
  • Strategic ability and able to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately
