We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.
 

Job Description

The Account Manager will be a core part of the central EMEA client team for TikTok, working across, account, strategy, and digital disciplines supporting the delivery of best-in-class planning, activation, and local market execution. This role is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide variety of disciplines that will allow the right candidate to learn and grow. Furthermore she/he will be able to understand and manage global relationship with other markets and actively communicate with different stakeholders within the agency group.

This person will be expected to drive key client projects that will include cross channel strategy development, markets coordination, supporting business growth strategies, supporting digital operations projects, and help identify new innovation opportunities.

ByteDance is a technology company operating a range of content platforms that inform, educate, entertain and inspire people across languages, cultures and geographies. TikTok, a product under the ByteDance portfolio is one of the fastest growing global entertainment brands focused on short form content. This role is to primarily support TikTok and other ByteDance product that falls under Zenith’s remit across a number of exciting projects.

The right candidate will be able to work closely with key clients and various teams and stakeholders giving her/him the opportunity to learn across agency functions and be part of multiple exiting digital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Coordination & Network Management
    • Coordinate 10+ local market teams to share relevant information and ensure understanding & adoption of such strategies.
    • Ensure monthly market call presentations are run smoothly and to collate and distribute feedback and plans.
    • Ensure local markets are following the Global strategy and executing best in class plans at a local level.
    • Work closely with internal central team and local markets to coordinate and deliver excellent campaign management.
  2. Client Servicing & Management
    • ​​​​​​​Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, to delivery across key tasks and markets.
    • Lead day-to-day communication with key client market managers.
    • Developing relationships with internal stakeholders to be seen as a key point of reference on the TikTok team.
    • Alongside Account Director, be key point of contact for any non-campaign specific requirements (eg relationships reviews, internal reporting and forecasting).
  3. Planning & Strategy
    • ​​​​​​​Support the Account Directors to produce and create best in class ways of working and operations.
    • Develop and implement efficient standard processes across the team to streamline tasks working with account, strategy, and digital teams
    • Ensure the successful implementation of the strategy and be a key player in ensuring campaigns are timely and reported on effectively.
    • Support the Senior Digital Director and Global Account Lead in identifying innovations in data & technology as well as identifying new vendors on the market for central buy testing.
  4. Team development
    • ​​​​​​​Management of the Senior Account Exec, supporting their learning and training needs, expanding their knowledge, managing their workload and ensuring they are delivering strong work
    • Build relationships and establish the smooth running of key stakeholder groups: central Zenith account & planning and activation teams, and central/local Zenith activation teams.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be someone that has an interest in marketing with a thirst to expand their knowledge and expertise across multiple channels. They will have some degree of knowledge/experience in marketing and be savvy with numbers with a strong proficiency in Excel.

They will be interested in understanding how consumers think, feel and behave in relation to products and services; and in how technology can enable brands to engage with and influence this behaviour. The individual will enjoy working with data and have strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results-driven. They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team.

Experience Required

Preferred background in media/marketing with experience across:

  • Understanding and/or usage example of media channels (e.g. TV, radio, print, website, search, social, online video, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience working with large team. With experience of managing others preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple work streams to delivery to deadlines for multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous working experience in media agency / marketing environment.
  • Familiarity in execution/optimization and reporting in one biddable channel (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, or paid search) utilizing tools like FB Business Manager, Google Ads, SA360, etc. is a plus

  • Highly organized with previous examples of delivering projects in a timely and effective manner.
  • Evidence of being proactive, solution focused and innovative with how they drive performance and delivery.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standard of work.
  • Comfortable in multi-cultural environment.

Desirable experience (but not required)

  • Proficiency in other languages, a plus
  • Experience in handling Tech clients, managing In App campaigns, a plus
