Job Description

As a senior leader, you will be working collaboratively across our biggest accounts to develop and deliver strategic, creative, client programs. Your job is to tell the client’s story and relentlessly pursue the best ROI, with a focus on driving exciting content across all brand social platforms to influence, inspire, and engage your audience on a variety of topics. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and management of social and digital media strategies, programs, and teams across MSL.

You are an insightful, forward-thinker with a thirst for being on top of emerging trends, cultural shifts, and changes in human behaviour, and translating them into innovative opportunities to reach audiences across digital and social media channels.

Some of the amazing work you’ll do:

  •  Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and target audiences, and lead the creation and execution of innovative and integrated POE (Paid / Owned / Earned) digital strategy and oversee execution of some of our most important work.
  • Develop strategic KPI-driven amplification and social paid strategies, working with teams to execute, track and report and work with the teams to execute with excellence
  • Drive an integrated execution for some of our largest clients
  • Ensure alignment between content and media strategy with a focus on creating cohesive digital brand plans
  • Develop and implement cross-channel (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, e-comm and brand sites) digital marketing strategies that map back to program KPIs and business goals
  • Lead community management strategies around customer service-related issues to enhance Brand community experience
  • Lead and participate in new business pitching
  • Understand digital platform technologies and ad formats required to set up and track performance across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Google
  • Lead budget, forecasting and account profitability with a focus on organic client growth
  • Act as a brand steward and maintain expert understanding of industry and digital marketing best practices
  • Lead brainstorming / ideation sessions that result in actionable outcomes
  • As a leader who is passionate about building great teams and fostering a best place to work atmosphere, you will coach, develop and mentor junior team members providing feedback and support on an ongoing basis
  • Facilitate social and digital training and be the “go to” resource for the team

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Strong understanding of paid and owned digital media
  • Extensive experience and proficiency in developing POE strategies in the digital space
  • ·       You have experience working with big brands, proven client leadership and can simplify complexity, navigate ambiguity, and plan large budgets that support multiple business units and objectives
  • ·       You’re a digital expert and understand the relationship between content and media in creating digital experiences, and the role of paid vs. organic strategies
  • ·       Strong social-first copywriting; Proficiency in working across digital platforms and formats (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) with experience developing success measurement frameworks
  • Skilled at analyzing data, deriving insights and building recommendations informed by data
  • Experience developing and executing community management strategies
  • You are a leader. You understand the difference between managing and leading and love to empower people to grow and succeed
  • You aren’t afraid to get into the weeds with your team. You take a hands-on approach to leadership and have a desire to get involved in the day-to-day operations of your accounts
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal PR counterparts, MSL Studio (production team), and Integrated Agency Team partners
  • You have experience working in a complex IAT environment and understand the opportunities and challenges that can come along with that
  • Creative Thinker. You love to brainstorm and help to develop made-for-social creative that drives performance based on client objectives. You’ll do this in partnership with our creative strategy and production teams at MSL Studios
