As part of the larger Advanced Analytics & Insights (AAI) department, the Decision Sciences team draws on the dynamic advertising technology space, digital and offline analytics, and evolving methodologies to address complex research and measurement challenges across Starcom client brands.

Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Web Analytics  is a junior-level position playing a vital role growing our client’s web presence within the grocery space. Using the Adobe Analytics Product Suite in conjunction with Google Analytics, this role will analyze and visualize website data to drive site functionality and performance.  Responsibilities also include developing ‘test-and-learn’ approaches to evaluate and optimize site engagement and effectiveness. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define best in class site analytics and reporting approach using Adobe Analytics Product Suite
  • Technical web analytics work including site visitation and pathing analysis using Adobe Analytics Product Suite
  • Reporting to clients and participating in status calls on a regular basis
  • Familiar with Adobe Audience manager segments & their use in Adobe Analytics
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Adobe Analytics for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Creation of site dashboards and reports using Adobe Analytics
  • QA/troubleshoot site functionality and data flow 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business, engineering, statistics, economics, sociology, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of related experience within web analytics
  • Experience using Adobe Web Analytics strongly preferred 
  • Experience with Google Analytics 
  • Strong knowledge of UTM and Evar functionality
  • Experience building site dashboards and data visualization
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Datorama, SQL a plus
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel
