Job Description

As a strategic leader, the Senior Social Media Planner will be a silo-buster. Someone able to guide people through the latest social trends and platforms, while having a firm grasp of traditional planning. Across the board, a Senior Social Media Planner is expected to be an enthusiastic collaborator, inspirational thinker, and a thought leader. With the ability to present original thinking. Thinking that is inspirational and persuasive to both your teammates and client partners alike. You are expected to be confident in your opinions but open to new and differing ideas. 

As a Senior Social Media Planner, you will be a valued partner to both internal account management and creative leadership, as well as a visible and trusted face of strategy for Conill’s clients. You will be primarily focused on the day-to-day operational success of a key client, with the opportunity to touch other exciting accounts as well. Always dedicated to increasing brand awareness, fostering brand love, generating earned media, and driving product and service consideration.  Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.

  • Content strategy - define role of platform, brand approach, publishing cadence and content calendars across a broad range of social platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, and Snap 
  • Cultural opportunities - Leverage breadth and depth of up to the minute multicultural knowledge to identify opportunities for the creation of earned brand moments 
  • Creative briefs - Develop insightful and inspirational creative briefs that elegantly draw on first and third party data, consumer psychographics, and cultural understanding 
  • Performance reports - Analyze social performance data to identify key opportunities for
  • Brand voice - Establish foundational principles and steward the evolution of brand tone of voice to guide stakeholders across creative teams, client social management teams, and partner agencies 
  • Campaign activation - Partner with creative, production, account, and clients leads to plan and implement activation of integrated campaigns across social platforms 
  • Trends and features - Monitor the evolution of social platform from both cultural and product standpoint to surface key opportunities and integrate them into creative briefs and comms plans 
  • Comms planning - Foster the development of content ecosystems that facilitate the movement of consumer prospects from awareness through to conversion 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with social-first planning and creative strategy 
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is required
  • Insatiable cultural and ethnographic curiosity 
  • Creative disposition persistently seeking new and novel approaches  
  • Strong work ethic and desire to go the distance to deliver
  • Exceptional written and oral communication ability 
  • Confident and compelling presentation skills 
  • Strong deck building and storytelling 
  • Proficiency with social platforms’ business tools and dashboards 
  • Technical understanding of each platform’s paid advertising rules and capabilities
