This dedicated writer will be responsible for the conception and execution of innovative print and digital materials designed to educate healthcare professionals and patients on our client’s pharmaceutical reimbursement program.  Must have strong writing skills with experience translating complex concepts into well-crafted, easy-to-understand content. This person will be responsible for helping to shape the tactical execution of our client’s program and offering unique solutions to challenges. This person will also be responsible for contributing to tactical recommendations that align to brand strategies and client business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Master nuances of the work and generate content that effectively communicates to the target audience
• Work on multiple projects over the course of a week
• Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with brand and style guidelines
• Participate in the development of creative briefs and tactical plans
• Interact with multidisciplinary project teams to understand the business objectives
• Present ideas and creative executions to the client
• Work with independence and agility to meet agency deadlines
• Assist other writers and help coordinate the creative workload

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5-7+ years of professional or technical writing experience in an advertising or interactive agency
• Must be familiar writing for heavily regulated environments
• Must be familiar with referencing and annotations
• Portfolio of work samples should demonstrate experience working on cross channel initiatives including web, digital, and print
• Must be open to travel as needed for client engagements
• Previous mentor or leadership experience is preferred
• 3-5+ years of patient support services, payor, insurance, or health policy experience is preferred

Compensation Range: $31 - $49/hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.  This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.  This role may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
