Job Description

  • Participate in and lead brand/communication initiatives
  • Work with senior team members to set communication objectives and strategies
  • Manage preparation, development, execution, and stewardship of media plans for specific clients and/or brands, and accountable for supporting the team and ensuring plans are executed in line with agency and client processes and standards
  • Develop ability to independently manage all aspects of the brand, while briefing the Directors on key happenings and issues
  • Develop and maintain timeline of projects
  • Develop and advise on ongoing paid social media activation plans based on client RFPs
  • Develop and manage campaign activation workflow and communication protocol between planning, operations, creative, and analytics teams
  • Deliver technically accurate media points of view for activation recommendations and campaign outcomes
  • Communicate key learnings to appropriate agency and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency of campaign deployment
  • Oversees production of reports that evaluate performance of the media plans and buys
  • Lead face to face client and vendor meeting
  • Act as a final resource for all inventory, billing, and invoice for discrepancies
  • Works with account teams to develop media strategy briefs
  • Responsible for facilitating each team member’s development
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of paid media experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience with paid social advertising and client management 
  • Previous agency experience preferred
  • Passionate about media and always curious to learn about new media opportunities
  • Previous experience and understanding of digital media.
  • Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat that includes a clear understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilities
  • Experience creating and selling media programs
  • Knowledge of key developments/trends/issues in all media as well as in the broader marketing/advertising arena
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective team builder
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and story telling
  • Ability to produce innovative media ideas and contribute creatively in overall marketing/advertising planning
