Job Description

The Associate Director, Advanced Analytics will work with complex datasets to deliver data-led findings, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to improve paid media and website/mobile app performance. This position requires strong critical thinking, consulting and strategic marketing and analytical skills. The Associated Director, Advanced Analytics will apply knowledge of paid media marketing and website/mobile app data to solve clients’ business problems and work collaboratively across various internal disciplines to drive marketing excellence and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze a breadth of paid media and website/mobile app data to provide insights and recommendations into the performance of clients’ program initiatives.
  • Develop measurement strategies and reporting of key business metrics. Translate data through storytelling and data visualizations to communicate findings.
  • Maintain functional expertise in database marketing, analytical tools, techniques, and other infrastructure requirements as well as advertising dashboards (e.g., social, search and programmatic).
  • Knowledge of Google Suite (including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Google Ads, and Looker).
  • Ability to communicate with media partners related to measurement, benchmarking and studies.
  • Work closely with respective team members from various disciplines (media, creative, account management, strategy) within the agency and the client to optimize and coordinate campaign strategies.
  • Develop and manage testing roadmap aligned to strategic direction.

Qualifications

  • 4+ Years in Digital Marketing Analytics, especially experience in paid media and website/mobile app analytics.
  • Experience with Paid Media Tools (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat analytics, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Suite (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, and Google Ads, Looker).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Datorama, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experimental test design (A/B split, multivariate testing).
  • Experience with website/mobile app tagging and data requirements.
  • Visual presentation of data through Excel, Tableau, Datorama, etc.
  • Excellent management and time prioritization skills.
  • Able to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data, strong Storyteller and Insights communicator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail oriented while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends, intellectually curious.
  • Deep understanding of marketing, advertising, and customer profiling.
  • Passion for Analytics, Measurement and Testing.
  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
