Position Overview 

If you are passionate about technology, love leading with a hands-on approach, and have managed projects and/or people in an agency environment - this is the role for you. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in numerous client-side and server-side technologies combined with strong client management and team leadership skills. You will work with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives and define technology solutions that address them. You will manage and grow a portfolio of technology business, be responsible for technology planning and scoping, laisse often with clients, internal department leads, and partners while overseeing development, and at times roll up your sleeves to solve technology design/architectural problems and some occasional hands-on coding.  

Responsibilities: 

• Acts as a partner with account leadership and discipline heads. 

• Will act as an expert technical knowledge resource across a portfolio of business. 

• Works with senior Tech and Account leadership to drive organic and net new business growth of technology work. 

• Partners with client internal or external technology leadership to help ensure work is implemented to the highest standards viable. 

• Managing a development team across multiple projects, assigning tasks and reviewing working through the project life cycle. 

• Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for developing and delivering on digital tactics/ provides technical audits for projects 

• Contribute to the standardization of technologies and evolution of best practices 

• Assist in identifying and leveraging the appropriate interactive and technology opportunities for Clients 

• Partners with QA to ensure we deliver the optimal end user experience based on the client’s requirements. 

• Vets creative ideas for technical feasibility, strategic and tactical alignment with client needs and goals. 

• Reviews creative deliverables and determine the level of effort required to meet the ask. 

• Guides the creative team and internal partners toward the best technology solution given the brief, financial scope and timeline. 

• Proactively deliver suggestions and opportunities to allow for best-in-class technical executions. 

• Possesses in-depth understanding of the client’s business and their overall, marketing, and business objectives. 

• Works as a visible presence and trusted advisor to internal leads and external clients. 

• Builds partnership across all disciplines and client teams, applying expertise appropriately. 

• Keeps current with emerging technologies and changing best practices. 

• At times, perform code releases, including code merges, release notes and deployment emails. 

Required Skills: 

• Demonstrable expertise in complex web development, leading teams and managing client interaction. 

• Ability to interact and present in front of an audience (including clients); 

• Advanced understanding of Design Patterns, OOP, MVC, coding best practices. 

• Advanced Experience with web application architecture and Responsive Web Design principles. 

• Experience working with database systems. 

• Experience with traditional and cloud hosting services (Azure, AWS, Rackspace). 

• Advanced experience with source control (e.g. Git). 

• Advanced Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

• Experience working with frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or similar is ideal is a plus 

• Advanced knowledge of at least one language or platform like .Net, PHP, Java, Node.js, and/or Python. 

• Experience working with Node.js is a plus 

• Experience working with CMS systems such as Sitecore, AEM, and/or Drupal. 

• Some Experience working with data-encryption, server authentication, client authentication, and general data integrity mechanisms. 

• Experience with pharma industry platforms such as Veeva CLM a plus

Qualifications: 

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant work. experience 

• 8+ years’ development experience. 

• 4+ years’ management experience.

Compensation Range: $106,500 - $179,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
