Job Description

Epsilon is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Delivery Lead to join our Digital Experience (DX) Practice and lead delivery of digital solutions for our clients. This person will report to the Senior Vice President, Digital Solutions.

*The role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the US.*

The work:

  • Works in a client-facing role to lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
  • Develops strong working relationships with the sr. management team and identifies follow-on project opportunities
  • Plans and estimates delivery, focusing on project milestones, resource planning (both on-shore and off-shore), scope, budget, risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Manages day to day on-shore and off-shore project teams during the project lifecycle
  • Manages the project ideation, gathering high-level business requirements, and defining the detailed requirements and process into epics and stories
  • Develops the documented solutions through hands on implementation or directing other developers as necessary
  • Establishes and evolves best practices for the development efforts within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
  • Provides leadership and guidance on all technical aspects of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform including, but not limited to, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Interaction Studio, Content Builder, Email Studio and Mobile Studio
  • Identifies risks to the platform or individual initiatives that they are engaged with and helps develop risk mitigations
  • Assists various stakeholders and teams with understanding capabilities of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading the successful delivery of SFMC projects
  • 5+ years’ experience in an architect role
  • 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud minimally including the following features: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPScript, Content Builder, Salesforce Connector, and Business Units
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience delivering technology solutions
  • Experience with marketing campaign design, implementation, and execution
  • Experience in algorithmic decisioning or interactive management
  • Experience in a consulting environment and/or digital agency with demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity, and innovation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with developing SQL with a RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
  • 1+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • 2+ years’ experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs, and integration techniques is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience documenting business problems requirements, designing solutions, and authoring technical documents
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and Consultant Certifications
  • Experience delivering solutions within waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Extensive experience with data extraction, transformation, and load tools
  • Experience across other digital marketing channels: ads, SMS, mobile apps, web
  • Experience with customer data management (data warehouse, data lakes, CDP, etc.) technologies
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 + 10% CVB
