Job Description

Overview:

The Associate Media Manager (AMM) is responsible for supporting client accounts towards stated client and company objectives.  Reporting to a Media Director, the AMM provides assistance to internal client service teams at the direction of Media Manager and/or Director.  They will be responsible for initiating and coordinating projects working with other internal departments.
 

Role Objectives:

Client Service & Program Support

  •  Provides daily account service to assigned client accounts, including interaction via phone, emails, and direct contact
  •  Conducts one-on-one updates with Media Manager
  • Participates in weekly/monthly client calls
  • Submits and manages requests for copy and reporting via Shared Services organization
  • Assists with competitive reviews
  • Assists with program tests
  • Implements best practices in account and program management
  • Assist with ad copywriting with partners and clients for campaigns
  • Keyword and website research using online tools
  • Manage reporting process and tracking of campaigns
  • Assist with budget management
  • Begin understanding basic online media planning techniques and practices
  • Possess a basic understanding of clients and partner agencies functions
  • Accomplish multiple tasks in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Provide assistance willingly as needed to other account staff on the team
  • Is eager to volunteer in other areas when needed
  • Develop skills as an expert in specific areas
  • Prove understanding of larger landscape of a large advertiser and how small tasks affect the big picture
  • Reverse mentoring with another colleague of a different channel expertise
     

Analytics & Reporting

  • Supports assigned accounts in pulling data and creating reports and presentations
  •  Tracks work assignments daily
  •  Manages and updates client task reports
  • Tracks and reports client budgets
  •   Performs ad hoc analysis and reporting

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; concentration in Business, Marketing, Economics or Advertising preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce
  • Experience with DART/ Doubleclick/ Marin/ Kenshoo
  • Experience with Facebook/Twitter/DSP/Affiliate platforms experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and implementation skills
  • High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
  •  Digital experience preferred
  •  Able to work as directed and balance multiple tasks
