DI PRODUCER

With a thorough understanding of the post-production process for feature and episodic workflows, the DI Producer will oversee feature and episodic picture post projects from production through delivery. They will liaise with clients and manage these relationships directly and successfully.  Highly motivated, with extreme attention to detail and the ability to motivate and manage a team of artists, this individual will also be extremely organized and expected to execute multiple projects in various stages of completion simultaneously. 

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate with clients, studios, and distributors on a daily basis throughout the duration of a project to ensure deadlines are met, deliveries are accurate, and finances are mutually understood and accepted
  • Assume responsibility for the technical integrity and financial ramifications of every facility task
  • Solve problems quickly and completely, enlisting the proper stakeholders while maintaining ownership of the end solution
  • Track, actualize, bill, and wrap projects accurately in project management software
  • Respond to client queries and requests in an efficient and timely manner, proactively engaging before, during, and after a project
  • Supervise facility artists, technicians, and staff members in order to attain client goals on a given project
  • Ensure artists and operators comply with all security protocols as directed by the MPAA, studio, or network
  • Work with sales department to determine cost of work to be performed for providing formal bids, overages, and actuals
  • Support in the management of the DI facility, team, technology, and company brand/reputation
  • Other duties, as required and assigned

Qualifications

Required qualifications and background:

  • Thorough understanding of post-production workflows (DCI and broadcast video standards, SDR/HDR delivery, colour science, etc.)
  • Ability to interface with clients successfully and problem-solve proactively
  • Extremely organized with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Network & studio delivery experience
  • Microsoft Office and administrative software suite fluency
  • Post-production software familiarity (Filmlight, Avid, Autodesk, Colorfront, DaVinci, Streambox, Aspera, Signiant, FrameIO etc.)
