Job Description

The purpose of the Digital Associate Director Role within the NestléOne team is to develop, deliver and present best in class digital solutions for our client. These digital solutions are both short term (e.g. campaign digital strategy and platform guidebooks) and medium/long term (e.g. digital business development/ transformation and both cross-brands and brand dedicated). You will be an integral part of the client servicing team, directly handling digital conversations with senior global client.

Team/Department Profile:

This role sits within the NestléOne team at Zenith Worldwide, however it will provide a multitude of opportunities to collaborate closely with other NestléOne departments (including Operations, Strategy and Search) as well as the wider Publicis Groupe network helping to ensure we are working to deliver ‘Power of One’ Groupe projects for Nestlé.

Your key client will be Nestlé is the world’s largest food company with over 2,000 brands in 189 countries and revenues of 88bn CHF. Nestlé position themselves as the leading Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company and are one of the world’s highest spending advertisers and successfully driving their ambition to be a leading player in digital transformation.

Responsibilities:    

Building digital strategies and campaign activations recommendations:

You must be an expert in generating digital insights. You will be expected to understand digital tools and systems (both proprietary and 3rd party). This includes knowledge and application of 3rd party systems/ techniques including:

Meta Audience Insights, Google Trends, GWI Nielsen (OCR XCR).

  • You will be expected to use these insights to support the Digital Directors/ Category Leads with the development of digital strategies that are insightful, innovative, integrated and effective with clear translation through to activation across all biddable channels.
  •  You will be expected to support Digital Directors/ Category Leads with the production of best practice client toolkits for channels and disciplines (working with specialist implementation teams where required).
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of different categories within which Nestlé operates (Coffee, Food and Snacks, Petcare, Infant Nutrition etc.) and be directly involved in the development of global digital strategies which help brands to achieve their business objectives.

Ad Tech Management

You must be able to understand and operate/ report from the technology landscape. Tasks will involve:

  • Collect and collate detailed digital investment and metrics (adoption and performances) across channels
  • Support governance and reporting in support of Nestlé QBRs with the global client service team and/ or for ad-hoc requests
  • Support the deployment, or updates of, the Nestlé tech stack (DSP, DMP, GMP, Naming Conventions and Redmill etc) and Project Management including governance frameworks.

Collaboration and Digital Network Management

  • You will be working in collaboration with Digital Directors, Category Leads, Strategy Leads and creative partners as part of the NestléOne and Publicis Media agency network. You will be expected to share the techniques and tools with those key stakeholders so that digital insight techniques permeate the agency.
  • You will also be expected to manage and maintain strong digital partnerships with key global publishers such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok whilst also be continually meeting with new partners to better leverage opportunities in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • Digital Strategy experience from digital or media agencies in a client facing role (client side digital roles also applicable)
  • Competent across Office tools (excel, ppt etc.)
  • Written and Oral Presentation skills (this will be a client facing role)
  • Strong understanding/ practical experience of the digital landscape: platforms features and connections (e.g. DV360, Google Campaign Manager, SA360, but also Meta Ads manager)
  • Demonstrate successful collaboration with other communications agency partners (eg. Digital, technology and creative)
  • CPG experience preferred but not essential
  • Languages preferred but not essential
