Job Description

The Conill Creative Project Manager is the internal steward of the creative development process for multiple types of campaign initiatives.   The PM’s goal is to take a lead on initiating and managing projects that require multiple workstreams across various types of creative & production discplines.

Equal parts planning guru, problem solver, team leader and relationship builder, they oversee projects from a birds eye view to ensure campaigns are initiated, conceptualized and executed in a timely manner while encouraging collaboration across all channels of the agency. He/she embraces the Conill spirit of Different Rules. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages large-scale projects across all-disciplines, which may be in whole or part of a larger campaign. Disciplines include Strategy & Research, Creative Ideation and Design, Pre & Post Production, Trafficking & Reporting.
  • Is present throughout entirety of the project, from initiation through closing. Leads the concepting phase of projects, maintaining this role through production and delivery.
  • Works to manage and mitigate scope impact with appropriate team members, knowing when to escalate dramatic scope impact to Account Leads
  • Informs and controls project workflow, tactically managing day-to-day project operations. Structures and manages internal, multi-track projects, including\
    • Estimation and management of project timelines and scheduling via SmartSheets
    • Confirmation of creative staffing with Creative Services Manager
    • Scheduling of internal planning meetings, including Kick-off meetings and Internal Creative Reviews presentations 
    • Coordination of projects to ensure on-time/on-goal project delivery
    • Management of internal creative assets, organized via LionBox
  • Routes layouts, copy, content decks, images, proofs, etc. for internal approvals to ensure internal quality controls are being met. Responsible for obtaining creative approvals, facilitating the routing of assets through proofreading, Business Affairs, Legal, and getting final production assets from Producers.
  • Manages project timelines, confirming feasibility of project deadlines given budget and timing. Consults with key stakeholders to ensure that key milestones can be and are adhered to and met.

  • Facilitates weekly status meetings with core internal project teams, as necessary.

  • Manages project communications internally and between all departments. Communicates directly with individual team members to reiterate scheduled deliverables, relay revision requests, record the job’s progress, and address obstacles as they arise.

 

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
  • 3-5 years of Project Management Experience
  • Cross Discipline experience is a plus, especially in broadcast, digital, and social
  • Agency experience is preferred. 
  • Production knowledge is a must. 
  • Comfortable with presentations and public speaking
  • Proficient project management tools such as  SmartSheets, Asana, Jira, Trello
  • Strong comprehension of metrics evaluation.
  • Practice standard operating procedures within the department to engage with others professionally, efficiently and profitably
