A Senior Front-End Software Engineer who has strong experience in various front-end frameworks and develops software with a focus on design.  Your primary focus will be enhancing the functionality and scalability of our existing web applications.

You will work within an Agile environment and collaborate very closely with scrum team members and UX/Product Design.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Manage deliverables as assigned in Jira
• Perform peer code reviews
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Work well in an agile environment

• 3+ years of experience developing production applications, mostly using React-Redux
• 5+ years of experience coding Javascript, HTML, CSS3
• Very strong proficiency in newer specifications of Javascript (ES6, ES7, ES8)
• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with Docker
• Intermediate understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as NPM, Babel and Webpack
• Thorough understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, promises and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Comfortable working with source control and GIT
• Familiar with Microservices
• Experience with AWS
• Familiarity with C#/.NET a huge plus, but not necessary
