Are you a super passionate front-end developer who also has killer HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript skills? Level is looking for a Front End Engineer who will create rich, interactive user experiences. This includes building quality user experiences, architectural planning for front-end technology, and collaborating on data formats and APIs with partner teams internally. You will work with talented web designers as part of a team embedded with our client's organization to help develop the future of their web presence. WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Work with other Front End Engineers building highly visible interactive web pages.
• Use awareness of mobile platform to build a solution that takes advantage of the latest features while remaining performant on those devices.
• Build detailed and performant JavaScript interactions with vanilla JavaScript.
• Work closely and collaboratively with team members across multiple disciplines.
• Innovate to build experiences that people will post to Twitter and Facebook.
• You have experience crafting custom tooling to support the development and review process.

• You have at least 3 years of professional software development experience with front-end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX).
• You understand source version control software and package managers (SVN, Git, and NPM).
• You are well versed in fundamental visual and interactive design discipline.
• You strive to use web standards to build solutions using semantic markup, templates (Handlebars), and Sass.
• You are a competent JavaScript programmer who doesn't need to rely on libraries to accomplish innovative interactions.
• You understand the interplay between JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and you can dynamically build, modify, and style elements on a page with ease.
• You are knowledgable about front-end build tools such as gulp, webpack, and Sass. Experience with WebGL is a plus.
• You understand all major browsers and the special considerations required.
• Experience using Chrome or Safari Dev Tools for inspecting and debugging client-side code.
• Understanding of browser compatibility, including mobile web browsers, and their rendering engines.
• Familiarity with web design software including Photoshop and Sketch.
• Familiarity with macOS including working in the UNIX terminal.
• You are comfortable working within tight deadlines to solve critical issues.
• You are a strong oral and written communicator with good interpersonal skills who can use varying levels of technical knowledge to forge trusting relationships in a diverse team and across organizations.
• You are willing to take the initiative to solve problems.
• You have shown experience building responsive or mobile-first sites.
• You have experience with localization.
