Job Description

An Account Executive is a client facing role focused on providing account team support.  This includes being able to multi-task, problem solve, manage multiple timelines and work across functions. 

As a team contributor, this person will support the client services team through all tracks of the business including social, brand, T1 and T2 advertising. Provide client services support for day-to-day client activities, including but not limited to, preparing for client presentations, scheduling meetings, providing meeting recaps that are accurate and actionable, activities related to production and creative deadlines, completing media placements, legal correspondence etc., to ensure continued progress toward client goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting senior team members by organizing and executing a variety of day-to-day processes on behalf of the account team and their clients’ objectives
  • Understands the internal goals of the team, and the goals of the client
  • Effective at leading status meetings, as well as updating/maintaining reports with concise information that is important to the client
  • Creates and presents PowerPoint decks for project intake, process enhancements, and other client meetings
  • Supports the brand account lead with briefs and contracts
  • Consistently acts as a liaison for the client by collaborating with partner agencies and third parties
  • Gathers necessary information from client in order to brief the team on new requests
  • Appropriately identifies requests that should fall under maintenance scope vs. a stand-alone project and communicates this to the account lead
  • Helps forecast our maintenance burn, and works with the PM to flag if there is a risk of over-burn
  • Follows up with internal departments providing comments, relaying client requests, and closely checking for details and consistency
  • Generates timelines and assists in managing project schedules
  • Leads a weekly maintenance touchpoint with the clients and partner agencies
  • Schedules conference calls/meetings
  • Prepares conference reports and minutes
  • Can accurately speak to Publicis’ capabilities, and helps the client understand our dependencies on other agencies for requested updates
  • Helps keep the account running smoothly by processing day-to-day requests, and escalating potential issues to the client

Qualifications

  • Intermediate Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint User 
  • Understands how to schedule and accept meetings, manage folders, and accept and complete tasks as they are assigned
  • Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills 
  • Strong client-service orientation  
  • Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
