Job Description

Working inside a team led by the Spark Foundry Head of Digital and alongside a fellow Search Directors, this role is responsible for all aspects of search and campaigns on behalf of Spark Foundry clients. Our objective is to deliver innovative, best-in-class search strategy for our clients for which this role is pivotal in delivering. The role is self-managing, with client service, task management, people management and business development requirements.

What you will do

Business Development

  • Collaborate with digital a business leads across Spark Foundry to develop RFI/RFP and pitch responses.
  • Develop proposals, strategies and papers to encourage increased client investment and/or trial of digital activity and/or test scenarios.
  • Identify opportunity for additional Spark Foundry teams e.g. Analytics and SEO.

Account Management

  • Lead client relationships via active account management – attendance at WIP, actions and minute follow up and delivery of initiatives as agreed.
  • Work directly with key clients to maximise their search results.
  • Support the Business and Digital Directors in their client relationship and performance media requirements.
  • Develop proactive discussion papers and initiatives specific to client needs.
  • Liaise with the clients through campaign implementation and in-market optimisation.

Strategy

  • Bring search further up the planning cycle, using platform data to generate audience insight
  • Articulate how search can be used as a full funnel media channel rather than solely a performance driver
  • Evolve the concept of traditional search into wider eCommerce opportunities

 Paid Search

  • Champion the role of search within the agency.
  • Educate, upskill and inspire clients.
  • Develop and implement PPC recommendations.
  • Run profitable PPC projects from beginning to end.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development in our internal processes

Implementation, Optimisation and Reporting

  • Actively manage campaigns to ensure optimum results for clients.
  • Take hands-on ownership of client activity within a client portfolio.
  • Proactively lead the process around reporting, budget management, pacing and delivery across the team.
  • Work with the data supplied by the reporting platforms to create insightful campaign performance reports (both interim and final) to be presented internally and to clients.
  • Implement campaign changes as required by the client or other partners.
  • Identify insights from results to inform future campaigns.

Other

  • Maintain relevant Google Partners certifications e.g. AdWords, Google Analytics
  • Stay abreast of platform developments and maintain technical proficiency.
  • Work with and mentor junior staff members on campaign development and planning process.
  • Actively contribute to agency culture through positive teamwork and energy.
