Working locally and globally we service client accounts across Publics Media’s three UK agencies; Zenith, Starcom and Spark Foundry.  Often working alongside other Publicis practices and services we collaborate to deliver best in class work with seamless project management.

The PMC team is 70+ strong and growing.  Media partnerships is at the heart of what we do, working with broadcasters, social media publishers, print partners and increasingly gaming and metaverse partners, we  activate over 100 campaigns each year.  We have a growing team of social and influencer specialists producing content to fulfil client needs in paid and owned channels.   The fastest growing part of the team are our content insight consultants.

Job Description

In response to demand for our services across our partnerships offering, we require a Brand-to-Brand / B2B Partnerships Director to join our growing content marketing service, Publicis Media Content.

Reporting into the Head of Partnerships, you will drive and open new opportunities for our clients to work with other brands and our business-to-business capabilities. You will build strong relationships with B2B partners, clients, key stakeholders within the agencies and potential partners to deliver bespoke and business-oriented opportunities to enable our clients to grow. You will use your strong negotiation skills to ensure deals are competitive and consistently deliver maximum value for our clients.

Who are we looking for?

Someone with a commercial mindset who is not afraid to drive and pursue new revenue opportunities. Top negotiation skills and an expert knowledge of brand partnerships, reward programmes and the B2B world are essential for you to be successful in this role. You should have a clear point of view on how brand to brand partnerships can evolve to remain competitive and relevant to clients and be ready to share this with senior stakeholders. You will also be familiar with B2B campaigns across a multitude of sectors including tech, finance and entertainment. This is a growing team looking for someone with strong drive backed by solid experience to further drive our revenues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of brand to brand and B2B solutions across a range of blue-chip clients, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to agreed KPIs.
  • Be a proactive driver of new business and revenues, collaborating with agency planning leads to identify and lead on opportunities for revenue growth by integrating solutions into clients’ wider media strategies
  • Understand key priorities of a brand, their business and communications strategy and where we can help provide solutions to their challenges.  
  • Proactively support your Head Of and the wider business with responding to new business or organic growth opportunities, expertly challenging briefs and providing creative and innovative responses that align with clients’ overall business goals
  • Problem solve at a senior level, skillfully overcoming any challenges that may arise and dealing directly with clients to manage solutions
  • Build strong relationships with members of the wider agency, clients, client agency partners, media owners and third parties
  • Be able to create account strategies leading projects from conception to final execution

Qualifications

  • Experience of creating and project managing successful multifaceted brand to brand and B2B content partnerships on behalf of blue-chip clients, ideally within an agency environment
  • Expert knowledge of the brand to brand & B2B market, possible partners and best in class activations
  • You should hold existing relationships with brands and know who to contact at a multitude of partners
  • Creative & structured approach to delivering innovative responses to briefs, negotiating competitive rates and exceeding client expectations
  • Strong presenter with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Prior experience in managing budgets and finance
