Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The leader of this discipline will work across the holding company agencies and across our regional stakeholders, as well as directly with clients to lead all future opportunity development to identify areas where we can scale and deliver PowerofOne solutions across the Groupe.  They will actively work with the Platform Impact team on developing opportunities that arise as a result of conducting the Digital Maturity Index (DMI) and Channel Activation Media Index (CAMI) consultancy that we do and building those into cross-Publicis opportunities for digital optimisation and activation. 

They will equally work on building relationships across the Partnerships, Content, Production, Commerce, and Data and Technology areas of our business to ensure that through our PowerofOne network, we are able to respond to pitches with a compelling, unified view of our capabilities in Digital across all existing and new channels.  They will ensure that the foundations are established to support clients in building end-to-end, multi-faceted data and technology-driven solutions to meet their needs, including working across both internal and external partners to design and deliver relevant and market-leading propositions.

This role will identify the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the business required to provide input into a pitch in a new area of data and technology, and then will support the development of planning and enablement around the delivery of that solution, bringing together the teams that will be required to orchestrate a multi-faceted, cross-agency, cross-team solution to a client brief.  They will then hand off the agreed plan to the relevant parties internally to execute, with the agency leads driving the plan.  This role will, however, support agency leads in ensuring that the plan stays on track, as well as checking in with the client when updates or changes to the plan are required.

At any given time, this might include expert leadership and enablement of activities such as:

  • Understanding and building connections with the internal and external martech and adtech ecosystem and capabilities across Publicis
  • Sourcing and evaluating feasibility input (technical and commercial) and reviewing with the client, internal teams, and partners of the proposed solutions
  • Operational measurement – establishing core metrics to track success, impact, and value of this work on client pitch success, account development, and optimization of client activation
  • Capability development – this role is responsible for identifying gaps and opportunities to further develop our capability to deliver fully on client requirements and/or to identify partners to support that delivery
  • Customer success – this role should identify the practices and ways of working across all teams to ensure consistent activities, standards, and measurement is put in place to ensure client satisfaction, feedback, and input
  • Process, structure, standards, ways of working, rules of engagement, and governance for how we execute data and technology-driven PowerofOne propositions across multiple areas of the business
  • Enablement and expertise around the above process, structure, and governance, as well as thought leadership around “art of the possible” for these cross-Publicis solutions
  • Agile test & learn – in this case, working across teams to quickly share, test, and focus the approach to solving customer challenges
  • Together with the Head of Incubation and Productisation, new proposition organisational and commercial structure development and planning, where relevant to the PowerofOne approach

Qualifications

  • Senior-level technology solution selling and/or product management of global, multi-market, multi-sector propositions
  • Strong understanding of the martech and adtech platforms (web, mobile, tablets, PC; DSP, SSP, Ad Server, Verification, Analytics; Search, Social, Programmatic; Data Partners; and so on) for holistic user experiences and data handling
  • Experience leading and developing high-performance teams
  • Experience managing in a matrix structure, including negotiating with, enabling, and managing a range of different stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously through all phases of the development and delivery lifecycle
  • Experience turning extremely broad client briefs into a cohesive and coherent strategy that brings to bear leading internal and external capability
  • Experience identifying trusted partners and working with them to deliver a client solution
  • Experience supporting the organisation to develop the technical, commercial, and organisational infrastructure requires to bring complex solutions to a client effectively
  • A solutions-oriented mindset and an ability to connect the dots, source the right technical expertise, and build the right “answers” to complex problems
  • Experience planning and enabling teams across regions and business units to deliver complex solutions
  • Experience of communicating effectively at CxO level
  • The ability to influence without authority
  • Professional experience that is a balance of commercial and technical is ideal
