Job Description

To further accelerate this ambition, we are looking for an outstanding Director of Digital Strategy as part of our Engagement Strategy department – someone who champions modern connected omni-channel experiences for brands; who understands patient and/or HCP behavior, the context in which those behaviors happen, and has the ability to develop the approaches and methodologies to getting to those experiences.
In this role, you will serve as the day-to-day Director of Digital Strategy for a cross-agency and client team focused exclusively on one brand’s omni-channel HCP initiatives. As such, you will:
• Comfortable in a mixed agency and client team where day-to-day collaboration is key. This team does very little working behind the scenes and then presenting to clients - the deliverables are truly joint efforts with the clients
• Collaborate with clients on delivering an omni-channel (digital and non-digital) strategy that includes content, channel and tactic strategy, as well as analytics and tech business requirements for omni-channel needs
• Help develop approach and process for a complex brand and assist in getting executive support
• Partner with other members of the team to help lead the organization, mobilizing and socialization of team efforts
• Knowledge in developing playbooks and governance on strategy for an omni-channel ecosystem
• Some experience in a diverse array of applications, platforms and technologies such as CRM/CMS/marketing automation systems and be able to communicate at a high level on how they impact content strategy

You will also work with other team members to:
• Champion the use of data; partnering with data-scientists to understand behaviors and uncover unexpected insight that inspire bold ideas for how a brand should connect
• Analyze how targets interact in the ecosystem, then developing experiences based on the motivation behind those behaviors to provide service value
• Envision and design orchestrated systems of brand communications; collaborating with technologists, experience designers and creative teams to bring modern communication architectures to life.

Qualifications

This pivotal role requires a depth of expertise (Minimum 6 years of strategy experience and minimum 3 years management experience. BA or BS required. MA/MS a plus), including a track record of impactful work experience and professional ingenuity – which means you are/have:
• Experience in both the articulating the process, and creating omni-channel (digital and non-digital) experiences
• Pharma or Healthcare agency or client-side experience required. HCP or business consulting experience a plus
• A true collaborator that has worked on large scale projects with executive clients
• A savvy problem-solver with the unstoppable drive to inspire teams and bring the best work to life, based on your expertise with omni-channel orchestration across a brand ecosystem
• A creative provocateur and persuasive storyteller who is endlessly curious and questioning with a keen ability to shift perspective as well as illuminate powerful insights and creative potential through data and narrative
• An all-around professional with exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change.
