Senior Project Manager

  • Full-time

Company Description

Who we are
Langland, a Publicis Health company, is the only health communications agency that thinks further across Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Policy, and Advertising, to create unique value with visionary clients.

What we believe
Health brings us together. In the diseases we suffer, the medicines we create, and the causes we champion, health shows us our collective humanity. When we break the barriers that divide us, when we think further, we can create healthier futures, together.

A passion for craft
Having expert thinking is only part of our story. To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join an established and growing agency at the early stages of implementing a project management team. While we have a dedicated project management team within Langland, this will be the first project management role within the Medical Strategy and Education team and therefore poses an exciting opportunity for someone with entrepreneurial spirit.

  • We are interested in Project Management experience first and foremost, you do not need a healthcare background.
  • Langland also has an extensive training program designed to bring those from a non-healthcare background up to speed quickly in a new industry.
  • Initially, we want an experienced Project Manager to bring their thoughts and ways of working to help establish clear direction, robust Project Management practices and also provide mentoring for current team members on one of our major MSE clients.
  • This client has several workstreams and therefore needs Project Management support to work alongside an established Account Management team.

Qualifications

  • You will have at least 5 years’ experience as a project manager within an agency environment, healthcare communications/advertising is a huge bonus although not essential
  • You must have an interest in working within healthcare - we’ll expect to see genuine enthusiasm for what we do here
  • You should have an understanding of medical education and the types of projects delivered – or a keen interest and ability to get up to speed with new deliverables quickly
  • You have the ability to manage complex, cross function, multi-channel projects influencing quality, budgets and timings
  • You will have experience of leading large multi-faceted clients
  • You should have strong commercial acumen and ability to manage, understand and report on financial health of projects
