The resourse will report directly to the Technical Director and will be part of a team of frontend and backend developers. He/She will take care of the backend development in PHP languages ​​and will be involved in the design and development of new applications and in the maintenance of existing projects.

The role is to build new digital applications and solutions with back end technologies and maintain already developed systems.
He/she will guide and establish best practices, architect code, and lead technical documentation. He/she’ll be in front of the client leading demos and collaborating with other disciplines to explain how proposed tech solutions fit into the bigger business problem. He/she is able to build and design the architecture of a project, and he/she will be held accountable for all (back end) code on a specific project.

As a Senior Backend Developer, your to do list will be:

• Evolutionary maintenance of multilingual Pimcore portal
• Development of new projects on Laravel
• Development of new projects on Wordpress
• Maintenance activities of ongoing projects

If you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in the same role
• Requirement analysis and customer interfaces experience
• Passion for new technologies
• Excellent knowledge of PHP object-oriented programming and Laravel framework
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases SQL (in particular MySQL)
• Excellent knowledge of Wordpress CMS (including themes development and custom plugins)
• Experience with GIT and API integration
• Excellent communication, relationship and teamwork skills, proactivity, spirit of initiative
• Ability to work under pressure, to learn quickly and to work in an agile environment

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of other PHP frameworks (Symfony, Slim, Lumen)
• Knowledge of other CMS platforms: Drupal/Pimcore/Joomla
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch and ELK stack
• Knowledge of NoSQL Databases (MongoBD)
• Knowledge of DevOps (Bitbucket Pipelines, Buddy)
• Strong attitude in troubleshooting

• Fluent in English and Italian
