Job Description

About the role:

Publicis Media, part of Publicis Groupe, is now looking for a  Nordic Commercial Director, leading our Global network clients on a Nordic level. A rare and exciting opportunity for a senior leader with media agency background and commercial experience. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Key responsibilities:

As our Nordic Commercial Director, you are the Nordic point-of-contact for our Global/Nordic network clients, as most of our Global/Nordic clients have a Nordic led organisation.

Your focus is to ensure a strong Nordic relationship with Nordic management on our network clients and to ensure we develop our Nordic clients on a high strategic and digital/tech level together with the Nordic Business directors and local CEO’s.

You are the contract owner and responsible for all LSA’s and Nordic/Local contract negotiations with Nordic procurement and ensure that we are compliant with the global contract for our network clients in the Nordics.

 

You work closely together with…

  • Our Nordic Business Directors. You coach and support them in leading our Global clients in the Nordic region.
  • Our Global Client Team in EMEA. You will have very close dialog with our EMEA team and participate in Global client calls, summits etc.
  • Our local CEO’s. Together with our CEO’s in the Nordics, you ensure we have the right competencies in our network client teams, efficient processes and ways of working, happy clients and a growing business.
  • Our Legal Hub in Amsterdam. Both regarding local LSA and when we pitch Nordic clients or scope new projects.
  • Our Global Investment Team in London. Regarding value management, cost commitment and media audits on our Global and Nordic clients.

 

Leading growth:

  • You are the Nordic management lead for all network pitches and are part of (or leading) the contract negotiations with our Global Team or the client’s procurement team. You ensure that we have a consistent Nordic commercial offering.
  • You are also leading the Nordic Newbiz Team. You ensure that we share learnings across the region to contribute as a stronger partner in the Global pitches. You will together with the Nordic Business Development Team look for new revenue streams and ensure profitability on our existing agency clients and development on our Global clients in the Nordic region.  
  • You are part of the Global Business Development team and represent Nordics in meetings and calls.
  • You are also leading the Nordic investment forum to ensure that we meet all cost commitments in our Nordic commercial offering to our Global clients. You have a close connection with the Global Investment Team in London.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with…

·Proven experience in client leadership, commercial negotiation and pricing of client   proposals - within a media agency.

·Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.

·Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong ability to manage relationships   with key clients and internal stakeholders. Solution-oriented.

·Ability to work at a both detailed level (e.g. proposal cost preparation) and also more   strategically (e.g. helping shape/develop commercial strategies for key clients)

·Fluent in English and thrives in a Nordic role and international setting.

·Possess a strong positive drive and natural enthusiasm, as well as being a team player
