At Publicis Groupe, we are looking for a Senior/Lead Data Software Engineer fluent in English to join Publicis Global Delivery, the outstanding platform that we created to become a global interconnected network and provide offshore & nearshore solutions for our partners - sister companies´ business worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Software Engineer who will play the role as a dev lead and also a hands-on developer to support the development of a machine learning software platform running on AWS for our client.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, document, test software and setup environment to ensure that the outcome meets the needs of end-users and achieves business goals from both the backend and frontend.
• Work with the data science team to deploy, validate, monitor and improve the model performance as required and provide the data engineering support
• Recommend adjustments to resolve software issues, improve the functionality of existing software, and ensure that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets the quality standards
• Provide technical guidance to other development teams and oversee the technical aspects of the solution
• Always take all software best practices into consideration. 
• Up to date on new technologies and software development practices
• Regularly attend team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

• Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Willingness to use any programming language but the ones mostly used are: Python, Shell, Java
• Strong object oriented software development background
• Extensive experience building APIs or services such as RESTful services
• Attention to detail in design, documentation and test coverage of what you build
