Job Description

As a Design Producer at Leo Burnett, you will help to facilitate the production processes of creative from concept to final deliverables. You will make a difference to this global brand communications, marketing and advertising agency, working with the finest talent in the industry.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to star their career within the marketing and advertisement industry. You'll be working into and assisting the Studio Director and Project Director’s in the day-to-day management of the agencies work. Learning everything there is to know about the departments, the agency process and the role of Project Management. Leading to opportunities to manage your own projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the Studio Director on resource management, helping to allocate briefs based on an individual’s strengths, skills and availability
  • Help to have an umbrella view of every job going through the department at any given time, including budget, stage and next steps
  • Help to ensure that Design process is always adhered to
  • Help to check that all briefs are accurate and approved prior to work starting
  • File asset management and naming conventions
  • Being proactive and aware of project changes across Design, keeping all departments informed and acting if necessary, sourcing missing details along the way if needed
  • Assist the Studio Director with cost estimates and timings for all new briefs.
  • Understanding the internal workings of the agency and the production processes involved
  • Ensuring briefs are approved and creative teams are briefed according to timing plans
  • Scheduling reviews and ensuring all relevant parties attend
  • Facilitating work out of reviews through the agency to relevant departments and potential third parties and ensuring that it is followed up and delivered on time
  • Communicating project plans both internally and to clients and partner agencies; managing expectations and assuring alignment with the client and agency processes
  • Troubleshooting and proposing alternative solutions in situations where there are timing or delivery challenges 
  • Working closely with all departments within the agency and partner agencies to ensure efficiencies and that delivery of output is the best possible quality
  • Producing estimates & PO’s (except TV/Radio) 
  • Reconciling projects once they are complete

Qualifications

  • ability to work well under pressure with a high degree of flexibility and a positively focused approach to solution finding opportunities
  • Be collaborative, supportive and have a team-based approach
  • Commitment to high standards of excellence with excellent attention to detail
  • relevant professional experience.
  • A good understanding of design production in print, social and digital
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, able to multi-task

Skills:

  • Microsoft Word / PowerPoint / Outlook / Google Docs
  • Highly effective team-work skills and a collaborative approach to work and problem solving 

Pluses:

  • Basic Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Other design programs that complement your skills
