Publicis Groupe is the global agency partner for NIVEA, the world’s leading skin-care brand, for every market globally. For NIVEA we have built a bespoke agency called Publicis One Touch, a name that embodies the NIVEA brand purpose of ‘The Power of Touch’.  

Publicis One Touch is a new agency model designed to help transform NIVEA’s communication model from a TV centric approach to one rooted in the consumer journey leveraging the range of touchpoints and channels that are relevant to consumers today.   In order to do that we must bring together data, creativity and technology to help build a truly integrated approach to the Nivea brand. This model is designed to dramatically improve the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and consistency of NIVEA marketing.  

To deliver the creative scope and the implementation we will have powerhouses across 9 hubs in New York, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Dubai, Mumbai, Shanghai, Bangkok, Moscow and Hamburg. The Agency is led from Hamburg HQ, which our core communications clients have moved into, and use a network of Publicis One Touch teams to cover the NIVEA world.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer and the Publicis One Touch Digital Transformation Team, the Digital Strategist is responsible for  ensuring a digital - first approach to campaign development for the NIVEA master brand and across the brand’s category portfolio. The role involves working closely with a multi-functional team consisting of brand & communication planners, digital analysts, social content experts and media specialists to uncover insights and engagement opportunities, plan strategic digital campaigns and provide ongoing strategic counsel to business leads and account partners to help them address NIVEA’s short and long-term business goals.

  • You have a track record working on global brand strategy and contributing to developing integrated global campaigns.
  • You have a good working knowledge of digital and social research and tracking tools and apply them to generate competitive reports as well as uncover actional insights that fuel creativity and more effective consumer engagement strategies.
  • You strive to ensure effectiveness in all campaigns and are familiar with research protocols designed to evaluate digital campaign metrics. You’re skilled at analyzing findings and converting them into clear recommendations for optimization and actions.
  • You are a subject matter expert on digital capabilities and can help leverage agency and client expertise to help improve efficiencies, contribute to business growth and maximise consumer engagement and loyalty.
  •  You are an enthusiastic advocate of the role of digital in evolving creativity and are willing to educate and inspire team members and clients.
  • You proactively identify digital marketing industry trends and trends taking place within brand communities and provide appropriate recommendations to team members and clients.

  • Experience with digital campaign management and optimization.

Experience

  • Three to five years of full-time experience in digital marketing or advertising (digital experience required)
  • Experience in contributing to building integrated campaigns that utilize data strategy and consumer journeys.
  • Superior communication skills, both internal and client-facing
  • Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including creative, media and technical delivery specialists
  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and incremental opportunities with client partners
  • Strong interest in technology or digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
