Job Description

Publicis Imagine is now looking for a planning manager to work on The Walt Disney Studios UK team, working on the development of industry beating paid media campaigns for the world’s biggest and best films.

Working on the Studios division offers a truly unique film planning experience, born out of the fact that the film IP being worked on is hugely varied because of the multiple studio subsidiaries sitting under TWDC.

You will be working on animation releases via Disney animation and Pixar, Star Wars via Lucasfilm, Marvel releases, arthouse films from Searchlight, mass reaching titles such as The Kings Man from 20th Century Studios and the biggest live action titles from Disney. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop effective, efficient and exciting cross channel media strategies, rooted in unquestionable rationale.
  • Manage campaigns from Brief to PCA, with the support of a planning director and exec.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team at Disney to take them on a journey through plan creation, whilst ensuring the plans you are working on take into consideration the latest owned and earned activations being worked on by the client.
  • Presenting to clients regularly in a confident, clear and concise manner.
  • Forging strong working relationships with the investment team and media vendors alike.
  • Ensuring accurate & timely campaign activation.
  • Maintaining financial accuracy and tracking on Studios, with the support of a planning exec.
  • Supporting the development of a planning executive.
  • Proactive insight generation/sharing

Qualifications

THE PERSON

  • UK cross channel media planning experience.
  • Passionate about multi-media channel planning based on data-led insights.
  • Naturally interested in people, what makes them tick and how to influence their behaviours.  
  • An assured presenter, confident and collected. Excellent communication skills are critical.
  • A confident multitasker, comfortable in fast paced environments.
  • You will continually keep up to date with market developments and embrace the new.
  • Will take great pride in delivering outstanding work across every campaign.
  • Previous experience working on a film client is a bonus, an interest in film is a must.

CRITICAL SKILLS

  • Detail orientated, organised and able to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in both on and offline channel planning.
  • Team player – likes working as part of a passionate, like-minded group.
  • Previous presentation experience.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent English communication skills – written and spoken.
  • Willing to contribute ideas and not afraid to speak up.
