The account planner is an inspirational thinker and a fearless collaborator with a passion for uncovering human truths. They are the ultimate insight-miner, someone who enjoys gathering and analyzing trends, research findings and turning them into opportunities for brands to better connect with people.  The person in this role will have access to a wide variety of planning tools (qual and quant) that will be very helpful in the development of POVs, creative briefs and well crafted presentations. 

This role serves as primary strategic support to the Associate Planning Director who is responsible for the day-to-day operational success, specifically dedicated to increasing brand awareness, driving product and service consideration and fostering brand love.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of insightful and inspirational creative briefs and compelling presentations that elegantly draw on data, consumer psychographics/behavior, and cultural understanding.

  • Be in the constant lookout for new and creative ways to authentically connect brands with Hispanics via cultural trends, behaviors and aspirations

  • Analyze creative ad performance data to identify learnings that can be applied to subsequent efforts

Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years experience with Ad Agency Planning teams or a related industry (Knowledge of advertising model is ideal)

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different day to day assignments  

  • Strong communication skills

  • Digital knowledge

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Insatiable cultural and ethnographic curiosity 

  • Generous and kind attitude toward all colleagues and clients 

  • Creative disposition persistently seeking new and novel approaches  

  • Strong work ethic and desire to go the distance to deliver

  • Exceptional written and oral communication ability 

  • Confident and compelling presentation skills 

  • Strong deck building and storytelling 

  • Proficiency with syndicated business tools (MRI/Simmons, Netbase, Helixa, etc.)

  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is highly desirable

  • Visual Design skills are a plus
