A content maker/creator will be responsible for creating, testing and optimizing content that goes across multiple social platforms. Creating content from scratch as well as from archive footage.
The ideal candidate will be someone who lives and breathes content creation, is always up to date on trends and innovations and has a creative mindset of digital and mobile first. They are passionate about social behaviors and social trends that can be translated into creative work that exceeds client and agency expectations.

Job Description

As a Content Maker/Creator, you will be working with a wider team of creatives and together you are responsible for creating and conceptualizing social content for our client. This role is focused on creating content that includes live-action video and/or still shoots, social stories/reels, editing and animation. This person will be creating to ‘entertain’ rather than inform and with an end-user audience in mind.

The person is a dedicated resource who will helm all stories related to the product requirements.
• Collaborate with Account Leads, Social Leads and Creative Teams to present well thought out creative social ideas to clients, based on trends and relevant social conversations.
• Plan and manage production and shot lists.
• Plan and execute content shoots in required locations.
• Create, edit and source visual content (videos, photos, GIFs, Reels, Stories...etc.).
• Keep the work on the brand and on strategy.
• Organize the content library in an easy-to-navigate way for internal and external parties.

• Understanding of new social media trends, capabilities, and technology is a must and the person must be able to present these findings and knowledge in a clear and organized manner.

Qualifications

Photography, Videography, Video editing, Motion graphics, (2D animation)
• Handling and operating both smartphone and DSLR cameras.
• Setting lights and sound (microphones).
• Experience with video and photo editing software.
• Content conceptualization (ability to ideate with other team members)
• Passion for collaboration and positive attitude
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable being flexible and adapting working styles based on the specific needs of a project
• Influence from outside interests and hobbies encouraged.
• Experience in a creative or digital marketing agency is a plus.
• Fluent in the Arabic Language is preferred but not essential.
• Proven track record in covering live events using mobile phones and equipment.
• Ensure familiarity with the latest social media platforms (Tiktok/ IG etc)
• Full understanding of the mechanics of trends; how music (sound bites) and visuals play together. Comfortable with trying to create trends.
• Curious about enhancing content creation and post-production on social media.
• A positive attitude with an exceptional eye for art.
• Self-motivated, hard-working, well organized, and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
