A Toronto-based communications company is seeking a Senior .Net C# Web Developer for a full-time position starting immediately.  Contract options are available upon inquiry.  You should have 6+ years of experience and a passion for web standards. What will you do?

• Work collaboratively with project teams to conceptualize, develop and execute engaging and usable interactive experiences.
• Develop standards compliant and usable websites and contribute to site documentation.
• Ongoing site maintenance and updates.
• Participate in project processes, contribute to project completion and be accountable to deadlines.
• Exercise best practices, current trends, and come up with creative solutions to development problems or obstacles.

What do you need to be successful?

• Expertise in developing web applications using .Net technologies (C# MVC).
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, LESS CSS, JavaScript and two of the following: jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, and React JS.
• Advanced knowledge and commitment to developing semantic, standards compliant markup.
• Knowledge of user experience design and information architecture best practices.
• Experience developing for cross platform/browser compatibility.
• Working knowledge of search engine optimization of websites.
• Experience working with a source control system (i.e., Subversion, Git).
• Experience developing for Web Accessibility, specifically for WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
• Experience using various industry standard graphic and design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Zeplin, Figma, Principle and a diagramming/wireframing tools is ideal, but not required.
