We are Disney fanatics and have created a unique UK and EMEA hybrid team to deliver not only excellence in market, but also be the guiding light for the region when it comes to planning. Job Description

This role of Insight Manager will be to support the Insight Director in strategy and planning across Disney’s EMEA media activity. Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing high quality, innovative responses to internal and external briefs (often from a variety of data sources), ensuring key insight and strategy are drawn out
  • Confidence in supporting end-to-end quantitative/qualitative research projects; i.e. designing multi-market proposals, developing engaging questionnaires and discussion guides, managing fieldwork, analysing data and presenting actionable insight
  • Extracting category/audience insight from syndicated tools such as TGI, GWI, comScore
  • Utilising search and social data to build a more contextual understanding of categories/audiences
  • Developing a good working knowledge of proprietary research tools, inspiring planners and strategists to use insight methods, tools and systems throughout the planning process

Qualifications

The successful candidate will need:

  • Key experience in a research/insight/strategy role in a creative/media agency or media owner environment with a broad understanding of the marketing ecosystem
  • Knowledge and experience of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry tools and currencies e.g. TGI, IPA Touchpoints, YouGov Brand Index, comScore etc.
  • Experience of using other insight techniques and tools e.g. social listening, search analysis, Google suite etc.
  • A genuine curiosity and passion to understand consumer motivations and behaviours
  • An ability to create a story from several different data sources
