Mint is looking for a passionate Android developer to join its team. Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

1.      Design and build applications for the Android platform

2.      Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

3.      Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

4.      Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

1.     Proficient with Kotlin & Knowledge in Java for android

2.     Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

3.     Understanding of Google design principles and interface guidelines

4.     Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

5.  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git}

6.  Familiarity with continuous integration

7.  Have published at least one original Android app

8.  Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

9.  Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

11.  Familiar with material design UI components library

12. 2-3 years of experience
