Job Description

As a Sr. Associate/Manager, your role is to maintain and advance our data monetization and audience capabilities for our client using first- and third-party customer traits. You will be responsible for the defining, collating and activating customer segments using trait dimensions from across marketing & customer platforms to empower our client’s businesses with valuable insights that help them make better, more informed decisions.

You will also help with strategy, creation and activation of data monetization campaigns using tools like Google Ad Manager.   

You will work closely with Data engineering, media and analytics team members. You will provide inputs and strategy on what’s needed to define required customer’s segments for activation on multiple marketing channels and follow-through to get the same implemented by either internal PS team or the client IT team. You will provide input in the construction of client decks and status documentation.

 ·       Accountability for daily monitoring and management of customer attributes and dimensions in Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager and LiveRamp for assigned client account(s) and working in partnership with analytics and media teams for reporting on customer segments performance

·       Stitch customer data points together to create, share and activate audiences so customer’s experiences can be personalized in real time for products and services they interact with on client’s digital properties

·       Review all customer traits available in given platforms and help define audience strategies for top audience segments based of affinity, demographics, seasonality, and re-targeting

·       Review current Google Analytics set-up to understand customer behavior, conversion and opportunities on how they engage with media ads and campaigns

·       Review current Google Ad Manager set-up to identify how campaigns are being delivered for what audiences and how campaigns and audiences can be tweaked for them to perform better

·       Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, QlikView or Looker) and relational databases

·       Knowledge in any of the following areas: Programmatic (DMP, DSP, SSP), Cross-Device Measurement, Attribution Modelling

·       Knowledge of broad range of online advertising media channels from Search, Display Banners, Email, Contextual, Social, CRM

·       Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

·       Interfacing with media strategy and media tech teams to build strategic campaign plans, communicate recommendations, and identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion

·       Prepare client deliverables ensuring quality, and that recommendations and work products are sound and viable

·       Understanding and effectively communicating our value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts

·       Participating in forecasting exercises for senior management

·       Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data and the customer journeys

·       Strong analytical skills to investigate and understand the opportunities of where A/B testing may be required and analyses the success of tests that have been run

·       Assisting in training, mentoring, and developing team members

·       Contributing to the development and documentation of best practices for improving communication and collaboration within the team and the group

·       Developing and maintaining quality control procedures for audience and campaign implementations

·       Participating in regular sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign and audience performance

·       Embracing and encouraging a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

·       Keep up to date with industry trends that are relevant to targeted vertical market markets, as well as general media news

 We’re looking for a rising data strategist, which typically includes:

·       In depth understanding and experience working in Google Ad Manager & Google Analytics

·       Strong experience in data strategy with CDP platforms like mParticle, Adobe Audience Manager etc.

·       Strong Experience in BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI and/or Looker)

·       Strong knowledge of DSP platforms and active campaign optimization experience

·       Experience with data connectivity platforms like LiveRamp

·       Strong analytical thinking and mathematical/quantitative skills

·       Solid presentation skills and comfortable presenting to key stakeholders

·       Excellent communication and writing skills—you’re poised, precise, and above all, kind when relating to others
