Social Strategy –Senior Associate

What you’ll do:  

Create and manage the social strategy component of influencer campaigns, review social content and reporting, and publish on behalf of a large financial services brand as a part of the Social Strategy team.

As Social Strategy, Senior Associate you’ll manage the day-to-day social platforms, work on larger strategies like launching a brand on TikTok, and work with influencer vendors to create engaging campaign content.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across different lines of business with different people, having the opportunity to learn from others across a 20+ person social strategy team.

 

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Participate in online conversation via posting and strategizing content creation to build brand visibility and thought leadership
  •  Help create a TikTok strategy for both paid and organic
  •  Work with influencers/creators on campaign content
  • Creatively and proactively assist the brand’s and your Digitas team in the development of social strategies, playbooks, etc.
  • Identify and analyze patterns and trends in the client landscape and with brand agnostic digital trends
  • Create and ideate, every. single. day. Be a proactive thinker.
  • Review social and industry reports in-depth and look for additional insights
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
  • Establish credibility as a thought leader on new social media tools, best practices and how organizations are using new tools, in order to gain a rapid competitive (and early adopter) advantage 
  • Further establish Digitas credibility in the Social space by participating in professional networking arenas - attending/speaking at relevant events

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • A 4-year degree and 1 to 3 years working in digital and/or communications
  •  Experience living in the social media universe—you’re in-the-know on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
  •  Excellent research and writing skills—and the ability to create smart content quickly
  • Experience managing content development and publishing
  •  A strong understanding of marketing strategy and how content comes to life on different channels
  •  The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning
