Job Description:

We are looking for an all-round Studio Finished Artist/Designer to join our high-volume, fast-paced experienced Studio team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years experience in a studio environment. Candidate must be able to work in both Print (multiple-page documents, Point of Sale pieces, brochures and large wall displays) and Digital platforms (eDAs, Digi banners, Carousel Ads, Editable pdfs, iPad pdfs). Someone with a great eye for detail and flair for design are a must. Familiarity with the healthcare and wellness advertising is preferable but not a deal breaker. 

Core Responsibilities

• Report to Studio Manager
• Interpret, adapt and build creative layouts into working art files.
• Interpret production and technical briefs into despatch ready files
• Completion of all briefs within the allocated time
• Upholding standards of quality
• Upholding all Studio and Production processes 
• Working knowledge of colour management is a plus.
• Must be able to work in both Print and Digital platforms

Core requirements:

• Minimum 3 years agency experience creating finished art based on creative brief and production requirements
• Strong creative and graphic design skills with a good knowledge of typographic rules
• Strong eye for detail
• Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills (primary in Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Strong overall Mac skills
• Able to understand and visualise technical briefs and specifications
• Must be able to work on both print and digital asset requirements and production processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Deadline focused – meeting all internal milestones
• Must be able to take a brief from Layout to completion with minimal supervision

Preferred qualities:

• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus
• Basic knowledge of prototyping applications such as Sketch and html is a plus
• Preferably someone who enjoys Studio work and wants to develop these skills rather than looking to move into an art director & conceptualizing role.
• Proactive, Team player and a problem-solver
• Working knowledge of Powerpoint
