Job Description

As an Art Director, you’re a visual experience-maker. You partner with copywriters to create break-through campaigns and on-point brand communications. Even the simplest projects become clever in your hands — you never miss an opportunity to make something fresh and smart. You live for big ideas and use all the tools to express them—photography, typography, motion, color, illustration. You have interesting things tacked to the wall behind your monitor and a folder on your desktop of inspiring movie scenes.

In this role, you’ll report to the VP, Group Design Director and will work with some of biggest brands in the world. The digital space will be your primary focus—social, display, video, web design, email — and you’ll be expected to see your work through from concept to final execution with the help of your senior team members and manager. Managing your workload independently to meet deadlines are a must. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk.

Your Responsibilities:
Own the role of primary art director on multiple projects at once.
Collaborate with Copywriters to develop concepts that are on-strategy and on-brand.
Work with various disciplines to ensure on time delivery (Account, UX, Dev, Production Artists, etc.)
Develop presentation decks.
Present your thinking and ideas to internal teams both in person and video meetings.
Assist in new business pitches.
Stay current on industry trends and standards.
Ensure everything is produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
Assist in art direction of photo shoots.
Recommend improvements and changes to the agency’s processes and procedures and employ best practices.
Report to the VP, Group Creative Director. 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Design OR Creative Portfolio School Certificate OR equivalent design experience preferred.
3–5 years of experience in an advertising or in-house design role.
Possesses strong communication and presentation skills.
Takes constructive criticism.
No ego. Collaborates easily and often.
Displays good judgement, maturity, and enthusiasm.
Experienced multi-tasker.
Flexible and adaptive to meet changing needs or direction.
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite program skills.
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD, Sketch or Figma required.
AfterEffects, HTML, HTML5, CSS knowledge is a plus, but not required.
