Job Description

Planning Managers at Zenith are crucial talent to our agency’s growth and development. We seek talent that is highly motivated, energised and committed to being both an inspiration internally and for our clients.

As the fast pace of our clients’ businesses change, we look to our Planning Managers to be the internal brand manager and act as a key partner with our clients to help facilitate and guide this change.

Our Planning Managers are collaborative, tenacious, inventive, and experts in client servicing & media, people management and helping shape and evolve the brands we partner with.

The Planning Manager role will be on one of Zenith UK key clients – Coty. This role will be working across the Consumer Beauty division. You will work closely with the Planning Executives and Planning Director on the day-to-day management of the account as well as the broader strategy, planning, investment and specialist channel teams within Zenith. With a portfolio containing market-leading brands Rimmel, Max Factor, and Sally Hansen, the Planning Manager will have ample opportunity to own campaigns and projects, ensuring exciting and challenging work to drive their development.

COTY

Coty (www.coty.com) is a leading Beauty business and have worked with Zenith UK since 2016. They are a fast paced and have ambitions to be the number one beauty business in the world. The Coty business is split into two divisions: Luxury Fragrances (Gucci, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Hugo Boss, Tiffany, Chloe, Burberry, Lacoste) and Consumer Beauty (Rimmel, Max Factor, Sally Hansen).

Coty is a constantly evolving and challenging account that will enable a Planning Manager to work across a number of market-leading brands, lead client conversations, deliver innovative media solutions and great ideas to clients. The Planning Manager position would be across the Consumer Beauty side of the business.

  • People management - development of direct reports to exceed their KPI’s
  • Key point of contact for their clients and the agency – you will lead and run the brands on the account, reporting to your Director on your brands development
  • Client leadership role - manage key Brand relationships
  • Deliver the media strategy across specific products areas and for the annual strategy
  • Quality control of the agencies output across the team – Response to briefs, reporting, competitive, PCAs etc.
  • Ensure ideas are inspirational, game changing and help our clients achieve their objectives
  • Manage cross departmental forecasting, budgeting, finance controls

Qualifications

  • A confident, ambitious and motivated planner who can work autonomously, but also enjoys working within a team. We have a strong collaborative working culture and hence we are looking for someone who can fit in with this.
  • The ideal candidate would have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to quickly get stuck in to projects.
  • A strategic & inquisitive mind with a proven track record of using multiple data inputs to arrive at well-thought through and exciting media solutions
  • Experience presenting to clients and internal peers.
