Job Description

We are a leading healthcare PR and communications agency, and we’re looking for a Senior Account Director to join our team. As a Senior Account Director, you will take ownership of specific accounts while proactively identifying, challenging, and seeking solutions to grow the team, the business, and the agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the strategy for the client
  • Manage the client within the SOW and run client health checks, service reviews, and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s)
  • Partner with the project management team to ensure successful delivery of projects within time, budget, and scope
  • Influence the client with regards to their marketing strategy and lead client meetings to drive client agenda
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to grow accounts through cross-sell/up-sell
  • Works with the project team and client to agree on budget, scope, and timeline
  • Ensure the project management team delivers timely financial reports
  • Own the overarching relationship with the client and ensure stakeholder management at all levels
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives as projects progress and conduct post-project completion reviews to identify areas for continual improvement
  • Is the leader of the direct team (people management) and leads a virtual team of those responsible for client deliverables outside of the immediate function
  • Manage any GDPR project issues and ensure data policies are internally ratified within SOW/ Contract
  • Communicate internally/externally in a timely, clear, and concise manner
  • Facilitate open and transparent communication, supporting the team as needed

Requirements:

  • Extensive Account Management experience
  • Ability to create a vision/strategy for the brand
  • Experience of delivering change management programs
  • Excellent relationship management experience and ability to interact efficiently with various stakeholders across different geographies at all organisational levels
  • Effective people leader and line manager
  • Experience of the full project life cycle
  • Strong commercial acumen & financial/budget management experience
  • Ability to identify opportunities for growth
  • Knowledge about marketing principles and integrated communications
  • Knowledge and experience of the healthcare & pharmaceutical market
  • Experience working within an agency environment
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities through evidence-backed decisions
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organisation
  • Stakeholder/senior stakeholder management experience
