Job Description

As a Senior Analyst, Paid Social, you will work with internal and external teams to review dashboards, provide insightful analytic reports, and collaborate ongoing creative and optimization recommendations related to paid social media marketing efforts. The Senior Analyst, Paid Social will work with Managers, Directors and other analytics and data science professionals, as well as paid media and creative & strategic planning teams to collect, analyze and discuss data related to the performance of paid social campaigns surrounding the client’s brand. The Senior Analyst, Paid Social is highly analytical, team oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Senior Analysts can assess which metrics and insights are most relevant to client goals and create reports that clearly communicate them.

Your Responsibilities:
Determine the effectiveness of paid social media marketing campaigns by analyzing paid social media and content performance, A/B or other test results, brand lift study results, etc.
Analyze data and translate results to various stakeholders, using data visualization and storytelling to communicate important findings and decision recommendations.
Produce advanced reports and navigate existing data visualization and dashboards for multiple campaigns and projects across the marketing funnel ranging in objective and KPIs.
Advise media planning and buying teams on current campaigns, informing them on which aspects of campaigns are the most effective and which are not, and advising them on how to tweak campaigns to get maximum attention and harness more engagement.
Cultivate and maintain client relationships by walking through reporting with clients and helping answer questions on emails or on calls related to campaign performance and insights.

Qualifications

You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Decision Science, Journalism and Mass Communications or equivalent.
You have 2+ years of work experience in paid social media analytics (preferred) or related field such as advertising, marketing, media, etc.
You are proficient with data analysis in Excel: Pivots, formulas, macros, etc.
You have strong knowledge of marketing/advertising/research principles.
You have experience with at least one data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Datorama (preferred), Domo, Power BI, etc.
You have an advanced understanding of paid social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok Ad Managers).
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
